"After a particularly stressful year, I jumped at the chance of going to Spain for a week to chill out. However I have a fear of flying, and I really had lost my nerve since the recent terrorist attacks.

"With two weeks to go, I decided to give the on-line EFT instructions on Sarah's site a go, and sat at the PC for a couple of evenings, familiarising myself with the instructions. Once I felt I had committed the sequence to memory (tapping a round is really quite simple once you remember the points) I tried it every night when I sat in my daughter's bedroom waiting for her to go to sleep. This was the ideal time for me because I could do it without disturbing her in the darkness, and the time when I'd feel the most anxious as my thoughts turned to the forthcoming holiday and flight. I would be in the room for about 15 minutes, and tap several rounds in that time.

"I didn't expect miracles, and to be honest, I didn't feel any different for several days. However, by the end of the week, I was aware of an unfamilar feeling. I discovered that I was actually looking forward to the flight. Instead of that feeling of dread in my stomach, I felt a tingle of excitement. It was at that point that I decided I could do this without pills and prescription costs!
