Before I started my 2 weeks working this year, my husband and I spent a wonderful 2 weeks
travelling around Bosnia & Herzegovina. We spent a few days in Sarajevo..
.. a few days in beautiful Mostar..
.. some walking in Bobovac and Velez areas..
.. and had a couple of days at the coast in Neum.
Feeling truly relaxed and ready for work, I returned to Sarajevo to meet my fellow therapists, and my husband flew home. | |
Once again the wonderful Nadija worked with us at the house in Sarajevo, translating
and managing the clinic.
This year we visited two different outreach centres, to which we travelled by taxi and took
portable couches to work on.
This is me with one of the lovely ladies I treated at the outreach centre.

The patients receive their treatments for free but some like to give gifts in exchange. This beautiful
scented rose was brought from a patient's garden for us.
Enisa was our translator on outreach took us for lunch and Bosnian coffee each day.
This is Enisa (left) with Jill (right).

This year I went to Sarajevo with a friend, Jill, who as well as being a Reflexologist also gave massage and
Indian Head Massage, which she is giving to a patient here.
After our first week, two of the therapists went back to the UK, and two more came out to join us in Sarajevo.
As a Reflexologist I can't miss an opportunity to have my photo taken next to a feet sign! I have no
idea what the sign means.. Keep off the grass perhaps??!
On our last night in Sarajevo we went out to a local restaurant with the other therapists and said
farewell to the beautiful city of Sarajevo.
